It is an instant visual reference that is easy to understand and gives scope to players. A GM can describe a location and how it relates to surrounding cities and landmarks, but nothing beats a map. The server's screen should become tinted red to indicate connection.Maps make a world, it’s that simple. If a server is opened after the client, press B on the client to connect. If a client is opened when a server is running, as long as both machines are on the same network, it should automatically connect to the server.
